Business Development Manager, Sales

This is a full-time, remote position.

This role will help us manage the success of our current clients while expanding our book of business. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Technical Skills

You should possess the following experience/skills:

  • Knowledge of common CRM Software as you will spearhead implementation.
  • Expert data skills (analytics, reporting, Excel / Google Spreadsheets formulas) including analyzing data using pivot tables, using queries to find the data you are looking for quickly, and using formulas such as VLookup.
  • Automation experience – proven track record of making processes more efficient.

Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients.

  • Proactively schedule regular check-ins with clients to ensure they are satisfied and their goals are met. 
  • Enhance organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different sales requests.
  • Track team accomplishments and what is needed to scale from a client perspective.
  • Be polished and professional with every client interaction.

Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.

  • Research potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
  • Research trends and create new opportunities to increase sales.
  • Collaborate with the SEO and Paid Media teams to provide helpful feedback for continued client improvement and growth.
  • Setup and use crm systems and dashboards to track and report on results.

Close new business deals.

  • Proactively schedule regular check-ins with clients to ensure they are satisfied and their goals are met. 
  • Estimate clients needs and goals while also examining risks and potentials for the business opportunities.
  • Confidently communicate what Search Nurture can offer and baic digital marketing practices.
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
  • Prepare sales contracts.
  • Work with partners and referral sources to drive new leads and referrals.
